The China-CEE Think Tanks Network Conference will be organized by the China-CEEC Think Tanks Network, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, in Budapest on the 20th of November, 2017.
The China-CEEC Think Tanks Network was established by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and is actively supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
The Network serves to uphold the principles of mutual understanding, mutual sharing and mutually beneficial cooperation, while also absorbing domestic research capacity to create a two-track think tank platform within the framework of the 16+1 cooperation, promoting exchange and cooperation between think tanks from China and Central and Eastern Europe.
The meeting of 2017 in Budapest, will be a fifth such event between Chinese and Central and Eastern European countries. The meeting will focus on the “16+1” cooperation in the past five years, reviewing and giving a summary of the achievements and developments in Chinese-CEE relations.
